Present scenario

The India we live in is infinitely more prosperous more creative more resilient and more self assured than at any time since independence. The government is trying revitalizing our sense of purpose to keep up ancient glory and heritage. India needs to take its rightful place and pride in our cultural and spiritual on world stage. The modern India has always challenged accepted definition of political action and argument and giving increasing competition to the west. Today India is no longer a place of snake charmers and god men. It has developed Agni, Nag antimissiles and launched several satellites of other countries successfully. Though there is significant improvement in the standard of living of the people. The gap between ‘haves’ and ‘have not’s is also increasing with population touching 1241 crores.

Even after years of independence the trust with destiny seems receding deeper into the future. The gross domestic product has come down to 4.8% after denomination. Price, rise, unemployment is increasing. According to survey of 21 major nations in the world by few research centres. India today stands out globally in terms of declining optimism of development in democracy system. The benefits of development programmes are not reaching the people for whom schemes have been launched are the five year plans. In 1984 Rajiv Gandhi said that for every rupee spent by the government only 16 paise reached the beneficiaries. The rest is eaten away by the middle men politicians or their followers or bureaucrats. The ruling party is not as it used to be in the beginning of independence. Today democracy in India touched the danger zone filled with negativism, pessimism. The scourge of our nation is corrupt politicians. They have forgotten national interest.

Today the unity, integrity, freedom and democracy of our nation, even fundamental rights of people are in danger zone as the politics of parties have reached the stage with only one aim of ruling the country at any cost irrespective normal and democratic values norms, have died in politics. Honesty is punished by brazen leader’s money making and materialism increased. There is no guarantee that an elected leaders will continue to remain is the same party.  Things have gone beyond repairs. Both the hands of reeling and opposition parties stained. They are suffering with spiritual anemia and moral degeneration which is manifesting as gross dishonestly exploitation, corruption and malpractices of all sorts of the name game of polities. As long as bribe giver and takers exists in the country corruption will flourish at all levels. Lack of stringent laws and effective enforcement mechanism it touched unbearable limits. Radical change in laws and enforcement is paramount.

The law is like spider nest it catches small insects while big animals pass through says a Roman proverbs. It is said that rampant corruption among Egyptians compelled Moses to give Ten commandants.

Different mafia gangs have sprouted to loot the countries resources with nexus of politicians flouring there is land mafia, sand mafia, mines mafia, forest mafia, wild mafia, alcohol mafia, stone mafia, electricity mafia, red sandal wood mafia, these decentralized dictatorship mediate a host of functions of the state and country. They enjoy the patronage of politician and bureaucrat’s mafia has become politician and politicians have become mafia. They both co-exist for mutual benefits. A stone mafia was bold enough to gun down an IPs officer in MP. The sunglass of sandal wood and timber killed the forest guards about twelve RTI activities were killed across the country in 2011. Jungles are living cut, earth dug, water resources diverted. Land grabbed from the poor people in the name of SEZ and allotted to capitalists some mortgage this land and take huge loans from the banks to become defaulters.

Based on global financial integrity (GFT) a Washington D.C based think tank, said that from 1948-2008 in the 6 year period India had lost $ 213 billion in absolute terms adjusting this for accumulated interest on gross client outflows increases the figures to $ 462 billion, a staggering loss of capital to India. Indian news media reported as $ 1.4 trillion. It is also reported that 25 lakh crores are said to be allegedly lying in dubious foreign accounts. Riding the domestic economy of black money should be priority why did some Indians maintain secret Swiss bank accounts. Because of compti politicians and curl servants wanted to park their bribe unlawful money. Rich Indians did it to hedge against political uncertainties.

Of late the demand for debt waives to farmers is gaining momentum across the country because of false promise by political gains in elections without the under family economic system.

We have members of parliament who are being indicted by the judiciary for various acts including accepting cash for excursing their vote in parliament and seeking cash to ask questions in the parliament. We have union cabinet members and state government ministers who are in persons and who had vacate their position allegedly on complaints of wrong doings people’s confidence in public utilizations has declined. The integrity and professionalism of evil servants and doctors are being questioned.

Democracy :

The beauty of democracy lies in pluralism secularism, decentralization and liberty. Democracy must be self imposed discipline of public opinions and it demands legitimacy. In representative democracy transparency and accountability of institution of government and the process of governance are cordial prerequisite for the very principle of representation. Today the democratic concept of liberty and equality has become illusory and adult franchise without educated electorate to moral degeneration. Politicians are luring the illiterate voters with money, liquor, presentation of saris, T.V. sets to the detriment of democracy.

Out of 543 loksabha members 162 members 30% have criminal cases against them and 14% have serious criminal cases. In the state Assemblies out of 402 MLAs 125(ie) 31% have criminal cases against them. In 2004 120 or 22% had criminal cases against them. 40 MPs and 700 state MLAs faced charges convicted of offences ranging from murder, rape, theft or extortion.

It is time to make a difference youth should not allow this trend to continue further in the name of democracy. There is divine generosity hidden in you. You should move fast. Dare to assert yourself. You are born to do good things and same the country from crooked politicians mafia and criminals in politics. Your birth is not a mistake don’t shrink your world in frustration. You have desired political inside you to correct the wrong doings.

Solution of all troubles of the present day will only come when we realize the truth that humanity is one and indivisible that there cannot be compartments in freedom culture or economic welfare and that one nation cannot have too much food while other nations have too little unless therefore we evolve one world not only in geography, not only by aero planes but our outlook, our mind and our sympathies we shall not be able to face the future…

What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.

Millions of small farmers and self employed craftsmen are not able to afford vegetables because of prices going through the roof due to wrong economic policies (model) where growth has been replaced by sops, subsidies and populist schemes cores of rupees spent year after on sops, freebies subsidies and populist schemes like one rupee kg rice, lap tops etc… the people wont a clean and transparent government
